Flamingo - Skala 280 86

Great thanks to the owners of Flamingos, who saw us trying to park and guided us on parking measures. Being of Greek descent has you with mixed feelings about what good cooking is. Flamingos does a great job of blending the cuisine and flavors very well. Both nights were delicious. We'll be seeing you guys soon. Thank you for your kindness and your smiles.

First dinner in Skala. Pretty solid overall. 42€ for two dinners and liter of house white wine. My lamb shank was really great. Wife’s Kefalonia meat pie she thought would have a crunchy phyllo top but it was more chewy & not crunchy. We have never ordered this before so maybe this is just how it is? Don’t know.

This was our third visits of this restaurant and it never disappoint. Firstly, the food. We enjoyed the seafood platter 2 years ago and the plate was just the same as before - plentiful and tasteful! Our adult kids devoured scrumptious lamb chop. Secondly, the atmosphere. They have a lovely courtyard at the back of the restaurant - highly recommend you sit there rather than on the high street. Thirdly the service. It’s crisp and efficient - no complaint there. It is nice to see the restaurant so popular hasn’t changed for a few years and still offers great food. Packed by 8 pm though - need to book if you are going there after 8 pm.

Excellent restaurant a really good vibe lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Very popular so best to book in advance. Staff are great friendly and professional and really look after you,and make you feel really welcome. A good extensive menu with vegetarian and traditional Greek dishes,cooked and presented very well. A must visit restaurant in Skala

Fantastic experience here and the staff are fantastic! The food was incredible I had the beef stifardo which was to die for and my partner had the mousaka which she loved to bits. I highly recommend visiting this place for a great meal and I also suggest booking as it can get very busy! We booked our table for 7:30 which is an ideal time to visit in my opinion.

Tasty feta baked in oven, hand cut fries, squid, halloumi. Polite service, comfortable location. Indoor and outdoor. Recommended!

Certainly one of our top 2 restaurants in Skala, determined over many holidays in this lovely resort. Wonderful traditional atmosphere, it's a popular, bustling place to eat, with delicious food and great service, right in the heart of the village. The Kefalonia meat pie, the beef stifado, and the moussaka are outstanding. Recommended.
